Welcome to HealthyChickens.org! This is a FREE service full of educational knowledge and advice given by experienced poultry and backyard chicken tenders, vets, vet-techs and approved contributors. Our goal is to provide a source of *credible*, evidence based information for backyard flock owners to utilize to help keep their chickens, turkeys and other poultry safe and healthy.
HealthyChickens.org is a a free resource to assist the backyard and hobbyist chicken enthusiast. Should your flock or individual chicken become ill we recommend contacting a licensed veterinarian. If your chicken is exhibiting symptoms consistent with Avian Flu, Marek’s Disease, or New Castle disease, please contact your state veterinarian as soon as possible!
